Next Door is no more!

Next Door was an intimate venue for presenting innovative artists with a focus on audiovisual
performances, located "next door" to the Rio Theatre at 1207 Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz.

The main room was about 880 square feet with an audience capacity of 50 people. Features included
a 16-foot high ceiling and a 10-foot projection screen. The audio, video, and lighting controls were
located in a loft above the main performance space.

Next Door closed as of July 1, 2005.

Rental Policies

• Your time slot would have been reserved once your $50 deposit was received. Your deposit would have been applied

• toward the rental fee

• The cleaning deposit was due 48 hours before your event

• Cancellation less than 1 week before your event forfeited your reservation deposit
